Inspirational Animal Writing Contest

Third grade students are participating in a writing contest about inspirational animals. This week they were visited by Dantin, a companion dog in training. His trainer, Nancy Portello, shared facts about his challenging and heroic training. Afterwords the students created motivating and heart-felt essays.

Book Fair Huge Success
Thank you to Miriam Varnagy and her Book Fair committee. Helping with this huge endeavor were, Vicky Hajdenberg, Melanie Gluck, Sheri Fluke, Ann Schulte, Risa Henig, Shelley Cohen, Reba Gordon, and Lori Beim. Thank you to all who attended and purchased books, all to benefit the Hebrew Day School The results were extraordinary and the winners are our students.
